CSR- CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
At SRG, education is considered one of the foundational pillars on which national building is made possible. At the forefront of identifying and providing opportunities to those that could benefit most from our contributions, SRG has been pioneering initiatives to ensure quality education to all, with a special focus on the girl child. Apart from the field of education, at SRG, Corporate Social Responsibility spans plantation drives, medical support and village development projects.
Smt. Brahmadevi Saraswati Balika Vidya Mandir
Smt. Brahmadevi Saraswati Balika Vidya Mandir is a pioneering initiative in the field of education. Powered by the passionate intent of nation-building and overall development of the girl child, the school has a unique system of education called “PANCHMUKHI / SHATPADI SHIKSHA”, which includes six important elements namely Moral education, Physical education, Spiritual and Yoga education, Sanskrit education, Music education and Vocational education. A unique synergy of spiritual and moral values with academic achievements is the key feature of the school.
Affiliated to C.B.S.E. Delhi, the school is operational in the premises of “Shiksha Bharati” with a total strength of 1700 girls and offers complete schooling from Grade 1 to Grade 12. The school has a dedicated team of experienced teachers and excellent infrastructure to deliver on its promise of overall, balanced education. Co-curricular activities like dance, music, drawing, painting, yoga, sports, stitching, embroidery, cooking etc. provide crucial life skills and creative avenues for bringing out the best in every field.
Village Development Programme by Shiksha Bharati
A village development initiative, the Shiksha Bharati programme has identified and adopted five villages. This programme focuses on helping people gain access to suitable education and employment opportunities and ensuring health and social harmony to turn them into ideal villages. The programme aims at covering upto 25 villages.
Shiksha Bharati has also established a state of the art computer education center and provided free computer education for about 300 underprivileged girls in the past few years. These girls were identified from surrounding villages and were not regular students of our school.
Vocational centers are operational at present in five villages. Shiksha Bharati has also recently established a Primary School for the underprivileged in Goyna village.
Smt. Sumitra Devi Shishu Mandir
Smt. Sumitra Devi Saraswati Shishu Mandir is located in a small village named Galpadar near Gandhidham (kutch). Run by the Sumritra Rajkripal Group (SRG), the school provides free education to children from the village and nearby areas.
Shri Ram Seva Samiti Hospital
Shri Ram Seva Samiti hospital, Gandhidham is run by the renowned group of Sterling Hospitals. As a trustee and joint secretary of the hospital, Mr Sameer Garg is personally involved in the day to day activities of the establishment. The hospital provides hi-tech medical equipment, doctors from different specialities and quality treatment options to the people of Gandhidham and nearby areas.
Primary School Shiksha Bharati
The Shiksha Bharati primary school provides education and training for skill upgradation to girls and women belonging to underprivileged sections of the society. The school helps identify and reach out to girls in tribal areas, rural, urban and remote areas with minimum or no access to such opportunities. The organisation also works towards sustainable rural development and prevention of infanticide through organised awareness programmes.
